There are several different zones used as housing. Each different housing zone corresponds to a different class of villager.
Household
The household zone is the housing zone for villagers of the peasant class.
Quarters
Quarters are the housing zone for villagers of the clergy class
Villa
Villas are the housing zone for villagers of the noble class.
Cottage
The cottage is the housing zone for servants of the ruling family
Barracks
The barracks is the housing zone for soldiers and recruits.
Manor
The manor is the home of the ruling family.
