Glassmakers are one of the many peasant professions. They require wood from either foragers or from salvaging trees. They also require access to sand. Sand can typically be found around bodies of water or in large patches if on the forest map. Once sand is exhausted from a tile, the sand tile is replaced with a dirt path tile. There is nothing the player can do to create more sand from the dirt path tile. Therefore, glass-makers have a finite amount of sand to work with.
